I think this request comes up every once in a while, and there are javascript
frameworks which implement this, showing a splash screen during the initial
loading. Given the sophisticated code generating features of qooxdoo, I
don't think it would be difficult to add an optional, generic, html-based 
splash screen, which is displayed until all code is loaded. This would also
allow to advertise qooxdoo at application startup (this could of course be
configured and turned off etc. in config.json).

What do the dev's think about it? I would certainly support an enhancement
bug on this.
