Hi everybody, I followed the various discussions on the ML about making everybodies dreams come true concerning Qooxdoo.
I think several people summarized "problems", "wishes", etc, nicely and bugzilla is probably also a good place for that. I guess most of must make our living somehow and some of us are using Qooxdoo including the 1&1's employees and other's support for that (for free!) and several people regularly make contributions to Qooxdoo (and therefore us). I am wondering, if some of you would also be willing to make financial contributions to get things going more rapidly, including making a more organized step into that direction. If so, there are many ways on how to approach that, e.g. having a group of interested programmers, who could make a quote for implementing a certain feature, fix a specific bug, etc, and on the other hand having "customers" who would each contribute some amount of money to actually do it. Of course everything outside the contrib tree would also have to be coordinated with the core team at 1&1, but I am pretty sure that this could be worked out. So, let me/us know if YOU, YOUR company, ..., would be willing to spend money, working power, etc, on making something like that happen.
