I have created, as a place holder for my own use but available for anyone,
a qooxdoo-contrib "organization" in github. In my project, I use git
subprojects to pull each of those contribs (and the qooxdoo framework
itself) into my project. I don't know if this is a direction that Andreas
et al. wish to go, but it's a start.

Creating a repository in github's qooxdoo-contrib for a contrib
demobrowser, and including each of the contribs as a submodule, might be a
nice way to migrate the contrib demobrowser off of svn.

If anyone wants to see how submodules can be used in this way, take a look
at the work in progress at https://github.com/app-inventor-gallery/aig and
the README.developer file.
