I use GMail and save all emails to the list and I can search very quickly and find anything I need. Now, I have many years of emails saved so it works well. For you, new to the list, I am not sure what tools the SourceForge has for searching.
For me, I see no need for a formal Forum. But thanks for wanting to contribute!
