I think that the list has shown you "exaggerated" resistance to your suggestion 
so far, though they have come with suggestions for you to work differently.

You tell that qooxdoo should learn from Sencha and setup a structured forum.

This suggestion has some good points:
1. better topic structure and not a total mix
2. distributed ownership of different topics
3. specific topics for contributions
4. distributed help
5. The authors "Beginner's guide to qooxdoo" can manage their own help 
topic...(if they wish)
and more

We think these are good points. We do think that it would benefit the community.

The counter argument would certainly be:
1. more to administer
2. more or problems of whatever arguments
3. who is going to do it?

But the answer might be that anyone who wants to be an owner of a topic can 
then moderate the discussions under that topic as suggested above.

The question is also if 1u1 is ready to increase openness by this possibility?
