I havent looked, but isnt the windows build still using the old 3.2 launcher
along with the eclipse.exe file? If so, thats why it works. The 3.2 linux
launcher showed the splash screen fine for me, so long as the eclipse file was
executable. the 3.4 launcher also works fine for me, if the eclipse executable
is present (which it is when exported from the PDE Builder)
