I think it should rather be an option to the queue/qmail-queue
plugin in config/plugins.

Clamav isn't very good at looking in email archives; I think Matt
was working on making some perl code to do it.  The amavis code is
so bad that you'll lose half your hair just looking at it.
Yeah, the biggest problem with clamav --mbox is it's email decoder is awful. I tried plugging in a mail decoder I wrote and it was much better, though startup time suffered. I may just do it that way and release an update since for most people dnsbl lookup time will take precedence over startup time. I'll let you know.
