The same issue that applies to qpsmtpd applies to the plugins. The plugin files themselves are *not* complete modules, and cannot be as they are stuffed into the appropriate place in the heirarchy when loaded. You would be unable to install it correctly (and I'm not even sure if PAUSE would index them).
I'm going to review the thread and [re]propose a structure. Ask will have to OK it, though, but I will be glad to populate it...
