First, a QRP_L member is put obn "moderation" and chastised for even
mentioning that he purchased a DX-40 on eBay. Now suddenly, there is a
big thread about Norcal Paddles on Ebay. No one seems to be getting put
"on moderation." I don't get the big deal. I got a set of the original
Norcal Paddles and they are poorly designed, and unreliable. Only after
installing new contacts, and ground braid from levers to the base are
they even usable. Fortunately, I have a large hand, so don't mind the
extra wide spacing, but I sure wouldn't recommend them. I note their
designer moved on to "FingerDimples(tm)" an idea he stole from another
ham on the Elecraft list, so what would you expect?
