"Thom R. Lacosta" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterence to the qrplist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Guys...I need some suggestions on an HF antenna for a very limited space
The diagram below shows how small it is....I could mount some type of vertical on the vent pipe labeled Y, or Maybe fabricate some sort of inveted Vee using TV Mast attached to the ventpipe, or a loop around my roff(and perhaps extending to the neighbors?
Open to suggestions....I would be feeding ti either with a K2 with a build in tuner, or a TR7 with an exteral tuner.

Roof Perimeter 12 by 22 Neighbor's Roof 44 by 22 north side 44 by 22 south side
On the vent pipe - it looks like it is towards the deck side of the roof? ...... get a 10' fiberglass rod ...... Maybe a short Black Widow crappie pole - I got one at a Cabello's for about 10 dollars. Tie it to the vent pipe.
Extend it and glue the joints.
Make a dipole with 300 ohm feed. Stretch it from the center pole to the SW corner of the roof.
Stretch the other side to the back of the yard to the east.
Looks like you should be able to get a 44' dipole up.
If you can let some wire hang down over the south or west side of the roof and get enough out to the east, make it a 40 m dipole with 300 ohm feed.
That's what I would do.
