It seems the owner of the system has decided to ban CO2KK, Ernie Arcaro (recent QRP ARCI HoF inductee, etc.) from their system, since he is in a "banned country."
That's really a low blow...I thought one of the things so great about ham radio is that allowed us to share thoughts and ideas, with no regard to nationality.
Ernie's done a lot for ham radio....and I've enjoyed his stuff over the years.
Haven't seen any comments on QRP-L about it, but they are probably removed by the moderator. I think it throughly sucks, myself.
Who knows...but with the recent actions by the FCC, where they are relegating hams to second-class status and the ARRL catering to WINLINK, I'm firmly convinced we're witnessing the beginning of the end for ham radio as we know it.
