Haven't seen any comments on QRP-L about it, but they are probably removed by the moderator. I think it throughly sucks, myself.
Well, finally got the straight skinny. Al Waller has banned ALL 200.XXX.XXX.XX IP addresses because of a "Denial of Service" attack originating from an address in South America. This effectively bans most of South and Central America, as well as Cuba from QSL.NET. Sounds a bit like using a howitzer to kill a bug, but then I'm no expert on such things.
That's usually the last resort type of thing one would do...but it's one of the easiest ways to stop the DOS attacks. One wonders if he'll ever get around to
putting Ernie's IP block in an allow list.
