I regret to inform all that because of the actions of one person, I have decided to make this list by invitation only. I will only allow persons that I know personally or persons who are known personally by someone I know to be a member of this list.
In all the years I've moderated lists, I have never had to take this step, but there is one individual, very visible in the QRP community, who has either subscribed to this list with an address unknown to me, has mail forwarded to him
by a member of this list or reads the archives.
The person in question not only has a public record of ill-advised and negative behavior, but has on more than one occassion sent email to me and other member(s) of the list that borders on legally actionable and certain rude, crede and offfensive.
I offer apologies to those that may be deprived access to the list because I don't know you....but I'm sure you'll understand why I am hesitant to continue
the list on a public basis.
To the person who has exhibited the behavior and/or his supporters...I will
make a web page available detailing the behavior and the nature of the communications...I feel your behavior warrants public disclosure.
