After a lot of thought, and quite a few supporting emails, not only from list members, but folks from QRP-L who have either had similar experiences or have heard about the exploits of the abusive person, I've decided to keep the [EMAIL PROTECTED] open.
open.
I've also decided not to publish the identity of the person on a web page, simply because he has threatened me with confrontation if I do, and I know that he was quite abusive to an ex-member of this list, and even admitted to the
abuse.
It's been very interesting reading the guesses on who the person might be...and
as well as he presents a pleasent persona in public. a significant number of
emailers either identified him right off, or included him in a list of most likely candidates.
I have responded to most direct emails where a specific question was asked, and will continue to do so.
On a side note, please feel free to post here about QRP or Ham radio related topics.
With that in mind....I just picked up a TR7 and can;t find my notes on what I did, if anything other than reduce the drive level, to run QRP. If it involves
a change in bias, perhaps someone has a circuit that would allow a switchable
bias setting.
We had a hard freeze here last night...so the shack is now filled with the house plants...so much so that I can no longer open the door to get on the deck to get on the roof(g).
But, before I sealed myself in...I did run a feeder from the chack to the outside...so now I can use the ladder to get up top and try to get back on the air.
