Thanks to the input of some list members, here are the latest modified
rules for the QRP Echolink Sprint.
RULES:
Saturday Evening 2000-2400Z
On "QRP" Echolink Channel
Work as many Echolink QRP stations as possible. Exchange usual SPC and
Member Number(if non-member, send IQ if known, age if not.(for some this
will be the same number) . No need for RST.
Members count 5 points, IQs/Age over 100 count 3 points, less than 100
count 1 point.
Multipliers:
COMPUTER MULTIPLIER:
286 computers X 20
386 computers X 15
486 computers X 10
Pentium I or II or equivalent (<500Mhz Speed) X 7
Pentium III or other (<1Ghz Speed) X 5
Pentium IV or equivalent 1 Ghz or greater speed X 2
Special Echolink QRPp multiplier for those using 8088 or Z80 chips <8
Mhz speed X 50 multiplier.
CONNECTION MULTIPLIER: Contestants using dial-up multiply final score by
5. Members using Verizon DSL X 3 (allow one X3 multiplier for every 30
minutes Verizon is down.). Others X 1.
BONUS POINTS: If you have no knowledge whatever of CW (like, Morse
Code), add 5000 points. If you own NO HF Radio equipment, add 5000 points.
