Hi Rex,

I think the best approach is to use the DateDiff function in your query. For example:

DateDiff("yyyy", [BirthDate], Now())

There are several different options for the first argument. Strangely for years it is "yyyy" not a single "y".

The value returned by the function is a Long Integer.

regards,

Graeme

Subject: [qsiteict] Access query to calculate age?

Does anyone know how to write an Access query or macro to calculate the age of a person (in years) from their birth date and today's date?

TIA for any help.

Cheers
