Gday Rex

depends on what you're doing with it IMHO.

If you're not on top of CSS and XHTML, and you want to use more relevant technologies, maybe that's the starting place.

If you're using tables based layouts with younger classes, then maybe it's just the interface you need to explore.

I think that the DW interface is only 1 small part of the web site creation process.

I've used a tutorial similar to this with some of my boys quite successfully.

Good luck

Subject: [qsiteict] Dreamweaver CS5 resources?

I have recently purchased and installed an educational version (for students and teachers) of Dreamweaver CS5 to my computer. It is a bit different to my last foray with DW, which was DW3 (not CS3 but DW3). That was 13 years ago, and for those interested, here is a website I created at that time - http://exploringdata.net. By modern standards - not good. Amongst many other design issues, some internal links don't work as it has been moved, and many external links don't work because it hasn't been updated in 13 years :-(

This term I have been using Kompozer and have been reading some books on CSS.

So . . .

My question is, what is the fastest and best way to get up to speed with Dreamweaver CS5?

TIA for any replies.

Cheers

Rex
