Using the features of the "Site" menu get around all of these problems. Only
takes a minute or two at the beginning of the lesson to "Import" the site
definition again. Of course, the kids need to remember to create a site
definition in the beginning, but then I do not know how else you would be able
to work in Dreamweaver. They also need to remember to "Export" the site
definition. This only needs to be done once.

Yep thats what I found, they have to go back to the same PC and hope that it
has not been reimaged, personally I find dreamweaver a pain for this very
reason.

Noel

Hope I'm not at cross purposes here, but...

I get kids to manage thier site in Dreamweaver (all versions seem to have it).

Then, as long as the kids stay seated at the same computer, when they log back
in, their site will be showing.

If profiles are dumped, it will cause an issue.

At present students files in dreamweaver don't keep appearing when they log on

this is not an issue.
