I've been doing some research and it seems gstreamer is not accelerated. On more limited CPUs, video and QML will be a problem, as some of my QML spikes at 80-90%
I hear that mplayer has the VA-api, which is hardware accelerated. How hard is
it to get the backend switched out?
What are people doing on mobile CPUs for QML with video?
