Is it possible to use gstreamer plugin instead of directshow under windows ? I have checked the pro file and there win32 check inside. I have installed pkg-config but now I have a lot of error message when running qmake : Package 'gstreamer-video-0.10' was not found in the pkg-config search path;.... That's not a configuration we test so I don't actually know whether it will work, however after checking there are platform checks for X and other unix specific code I think it may be possible. However you will need to install the gstreamer-video-0.10 package that pkgconfig can't find before the backend will compile. Andrew
