I am assuming you are talking about your CPU's temperature. Have you taken 
a look at the "System Monitor" app to see whether it is actually qtile that 
is using your CPU in those cases? And, if so, could you check the log 
at ~/.local/share/qtile/qtile.log while qtile is running in case it gives 
any hints?
