Here in Indiana there is a 10 yr age limit on vehicles no mileage limit but has to pass inspection by there mechanic. And even though VR is federal each state does have there own guidelines within the federal statutes. Here in In. they will pay for 2 vehicle mods. In your lifetime. But in Mn. They’ll pay for 4 In Ca they’ll pay for your vehicle or I’ve h eard of several that they’ve payed for so maybe it’s the councilor and an creative client. But I know that if it’s 2 help you 2 become more independent & help you 2 get back & forth 2 work or get a job they are 2 do all they can. You have the right 2 appeal if they deny it & I’m sure there are different levels since it is federal.

There is no way I can get them to pay for any kind of vehicle modifications to a van that is more than 4 years old and more than 40,000 miles. I brought up that a couple of people got DR in their state to pay for the vans (DR is federal) and they have no idea what I am talking about except for they they say that they don't know how that was done since DR is federal.
