I have tilt & recline. I use the recline more often than the tilt when sitting at the computer. I tilt back slightly before I recline so I don't slide down. When my muscles start feeling stiff I recline which causes me to spasm then I feel better. I can't do that with the tilt only.

I also have power elevating legrests so I can lift my legs straight out. Helps cut down on edema in my feet.

Hi All,
OK, I'm going to try on Friday to get a brand new power chair for myself. I'm on straight Medicaid and I'm 32 yrs post C 5,6 drive a van, love being outdoors even in the snow & rain, live in New Jersey and am a peer counselor.
~ Question ~ What should be on my wish list for my new power chair? Should I get tilt & recline or just tilt? (I've never had either in all these years) What is a BAD make or model? What is a great make & model? Should I get more than four wheels, like some have six?
