[QUAD-L] Reading with pets

Today I spent well over an hour sitting outside reading with a new friend, a Praying Mantis. He landed on a chair at the table, then my helper set it on my lap. He just walked up my side at sat on my shoulder for a long time. I finely had to brush him away so I could go back inside. Then I looked them up online and the first photo I saw was one that quickly struck out and caught a humming bird and ate it's innards. Yuck.. But they are so cool looking. We get quite a few of the 3-4 inch size, but only once got a 5-6 inch one. I hope they don't eat lizards, I love to go out and watch the lizards run around our brick wall fence. We have about 3-5 lizards laying/holding on the side of the fence wall at any given time. I love atracting nature to our yard, but had to stop the bird feeders cause our dog caught a few birds... Greg
