Great info, Jim. That is why its called a Bowel Management Program. Managing, doesn't mean controlling, it implies doing one's best to manage a very natural thing. Kinda like environmental managing the flow of a small river... an then a storm comes along the that small river become a raging river. Management can be adjusted to meet a situation, and everyone should have a "backup" plan (did that sound proper, lol?) for their personal bowel management program. This would include those foods that encourage a bowel movement that foods that discourage the bowels from moving. Bowel Programs, are like anything else that is natural, like eating, sleeping and shaking your bladder. Remember, not all programs are alike. Maybe that is why they are referred to as "programs" (lol) May All of your Movements... be blissed! W
