That's funny you said that Dana, I had the same thought that
I'd roll myself out in front of a semi.

[QUAD-L] I'm kinda new here
Hi Barbara,
I'm glad you found this list, I did know did not know about it,
when I was in new injury as I did not have the computer until 85 and
not connected to the Internet until 2003 . I'm not even sure
when this was started, maybe someone can tell us. I could never
thank Jim Lubin enough for starting this list. I'm not
married, but still looking, I have no children, just a 4.1 pound
female yourkie named Zoe. There is still life after SCI. Feel
free to talk to us about anything, as I'm sure someone will be able
to answer questions you may have and share their experiences. . I
remember feeling hopeless, after I returned from rehab, I wanted to
drive in front of a semi, but I figured with my luck, I would not
die, I would just be more disabled.
Thank you for joining our list
Dana ( C4-5, 31 years post, 52, KC
suburb in Kansas)

Subject: [QUAD-L] I'm kinda new
here
Hi, I don't know if this is right but I need
to ask a question about living, or should I say existing, as a quad?
I'm a bit intimidated about how long some of you have been quads. I
was in a car accident July 4 2005 and I'm c 5 & 19 yrs old.
I don't think I want to live 10, 20, 30 or 40 years like this? How
do you guys do it? I'm so overwhelmed and scared. What am I sopo to
do with my life like this? Are any of you guys married or have
children?
