In case you had not heard yet, while in DC for our National Action ADAPT got
promises for both the Senate Finance Committee and the House Energy and
Commerce Committee to hold hearings on the Community Choice Act!
In June/July the new cost study will be published and available showing the
cost is a fraction of that misguided CBO estimate of so long ago.
This bill has wheels!
IT'S TIME!
Now is the time to sign on more co-sponsors. House and Senate will break for
Memorial Day and be in their home districts holding public meetings etc. or in
local offices May 28 to June 1. Then July 2- 6 they will be back for
Independence Day! IT'S TIME! Make your plans now to visit and get your
Representative AND Senators signed on as Co-Sponsors.
