I have always driven side-entry. As a rule, if I do not have enough of the
yellow cross-hash space next to my van, then I'll go take two "regular"
spots by parking diagonal across both. Other tricks include bringing a
orange cone with you to block a spot and using non-moving objects in the
parking lot to secure more room.

Have I been approached by the law or business owners? Yes, and I tell them
to go tow offenders, make the van spots bigger, or increase the number of
spots to ADA specs.

Thank You,

I don't drive my wife does........We used to have a big Dodge Ram van
with side entry--It was a drag because everywhere we went people would park
right up against us blocking me from getting loaded>>>even with signs saying
wheelchair lift stay clear! Now we got a chevy astro mini van with rear
entry...I back in and drive out---either way quickly . Now if a quad is
driving not sure how good rear entry is for the driver, Some quad drivers
may have opinions here on that. Dan

 Hi everyone

I need to know if anyone of you have a van with the rear entry? is it better
then the side entry?

I have found a fairly new van Toyota make with a rear entry and my old van
had a side entry I wander if that makes a big difference?
