I have experienced the same problem, so I avoid large meals. Mark is right about the infection being too much for a system that is already impaired. It could also be an allergy you have developed. We all have essentially low blood pressure so it doesn't take a lot to cause us to black out, or go into a gray out. If anything acts as a histamine on us we will generally faint. If you began taking a new med, it may be the culprit, or your allergic to the dust coming from your AC. Your BP drops, heart races and down you go until your system can compensate. Sometimes all you need is an over the counter anti-histamine like benedril. Ask your doctor first, because I don't know squat about your medical history. I do keep sudo-fed on hand for when I feel like I'm going down. Best Wishes, john

It usually only happens when I have a uti or some other illness though. Welcome to the list btw! I'm Mark a C5/6 going on 9 years now. I am a 49 yr. old C 3-4 quad. I can not move anything below my shoulders but I am not on a vent. I am going on my 24th year. The past 2 to 2 1/2 years I have been having dizzy spells to where if I don't tilt back in my w/c I will pass completely out. It happens after I eat a meal. I have been to different Dr.'s about this and the only thing they can tell me is that my blood is going into my digestion system. The only problem is it doesn't happen every time I eat. Has anyone ever heard of a problem like this? I also have scoliosis bad. My spine curves bad right in between my shoulders. Could this have anything to do with it? Any reply would be helpful. ________________________________ Time for vacation? WIN what you need. Enter Now! No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG.
