Dave will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave, his family and
friends. I can't believe he's gone. I know to a better place, but I will miss
him nonetheless. He was one of the first people I met when I got hurt and
online. He was always caring,  he always put a smile on my face, he had alot of
knowledge and gave great advice.
God bless you Dave....
Love Gina

I think Dave and I were the oldest ones on the list. I am 57 and c5 since a
diving accident in 1971. We had much in common.i too have a sore on my coccyx
that Ihave battled for 5 years. I have an iv antibiotic for it about twice a
year. If I remember right,Chris Reeve died of this same thing. Dave was one of
the finest  and most positive people I have ever known. Ihave a feeling he is
somewhere doing jumping jacks and pushups right now!

Hey Dave! Save me a place! Someday we'll climb trees and run laps together!
Love you, brother. =) sigh.   Larry Willis

Dave will really be missed with love, especially his warm and loving wishes he
always  had for everyone. I always felt free to write to him about anything. He
always answered with extreme caring.

I did not know that death would occur, just by removing a central line. Would
someone on the list explain this more clearly.

Thank you.

Dave died when they removed a central IV line from his neck.  His body (as per
his wishes) was sent to a universityor they were according tor scientific
study.  His memorial service will be at 1pm CT at the Seventh Day Adventist
Church, 1305 14th St., Wichita Falls, TX 76301.  Jan only asked that you stop
and think of Dave and his family for a few moments.

I sent a small flower arrangement on behalf of the SCIC and QUAD LIST members.

As Dave would say: "Stay strong."
