I had three lithotripsy in 2012, but they did not remove my stones. They do cause UTIs which I get often. The antibiotic. I was given by the infectious disease Doctor to take daily has not stopped the UTIs. I think it's called Macrodantin, but I get the generic. Dana In a message dated 2/21/2013 1:39:06 P.M. I used to have an IVP, but haven't had one in years. I think the renal ultrasound measures kidney/bladder function as well as finding stones. I'd ask for one if you're having pain and spasms. Would I need to go into the hospital or how can they check those? thanks for any replies ! Dan H**
