My daughter and I designed a leg rest for my wheelchair which leaves my heels not touching anything. Both of my calves are on this support, which has kept me from getting any heel problems. You might look into having something custom made for you and your chair. Joan

I got some really good boots that keep pressure off thank you I will have to look on the boot and see what they're called. I am wearing them right now. These were recommended by my will doctor. My orthotist put some foam on the back of my leg trough to keep pressure off my heels but the Memory foam was not good enough. I wrote the Roho Website to see if they had any small pieces that could go on the back of my heels rather above the heel to prevent pressure. Did not Hear back from them. The technician United Seating said he would call them. As Pressure on our heels Is always a constant problem for most of us. I Have a skin graft on my right heel that is always a problem. Any suggestions anybody has is always a help. Dana Sent from my iPhone On Jun 22, 2013, at 4:33 PM, jume9...@comcast.net wrote: Similar thing happened to me a while back. I took the top layer of the blister off because it was hanging there to look at the sore. It was red and had a couple spots on it, looked wet. I cleaned it, then put some triple ointment on it and went to bed. Overnight a purple looking coating formed on the sore. As far as I can tell its a stage two pressure sore. What should I put on this? Any advice? I need some knowlegable quads to get me going here..... Ron
