As a "survey of one"--I'm a T10 para, 29 years post injury, mild but quite annoying spasticity in my quadriceps, especially annoying at night--on a good night, no spasm's, on a bad night they kick off every 20 seconds, I can set my watch to it, and make it impossible to sleep.
I've been on Baclofen 40mg 3-times a day (120mg) per day, for 14 years. I recently cut back to 100 mg a day, 30, 30, and 40 at night. I don't think it makes me any more drowsy than dealing with all of the other SCI stuff. I find it does work. I tried getting down to 90 mg a day, 30-30-30 but my spasm's increased--so my survey of one say it works, or at least helps. Although I've seen this addressed on this list before it is worth repeating--suddenly stopping Baclofen can be extremely dangerous. If you want to stop or cut down, ask your physician how to taper.
