I usually take Cipro, and when first tested I got a shot and Cipro, but a few days later after it was cultured they called and said Cipro was the wrong kind. They switched to Ampicillin, a big pill 4x a day, but it made me vary sick. So they switched it to Augmentin. I'm hoping I'll start feelig better soon.The Ampicillin made me feel worse than the UTI/ Greg
