I am in a nursing home and need a motorized wheelchair to be able to not be stuck in bed 24 seven because I am paralyzed from the neck down.
The administrator says this facility is not equipped to have a motorized wheelchair. Because I never leave my room in this place, I have no idea what goes on outside my room but I just assumed they would have residents tooling around in their motorized wheelchairs. Apparently no one here has one. At the two other facilities I was in, people had them. I think everyone else here is completely demented because I am the only one here that uses a computer. Anyway I'm seeking information about how they can legally keep me separated from the medical equipment I need.
