Eudora Light 3.1.3. Links are in the FAQ. By far the best 68K mail client
(and probably second to Eudora Pro 5 on the PPC side).
Netscape is horrible and OE on 68K is a recipe for disaster, as you're
noticing.
Oh, and the FAQ is quite lynx-friendly :)
