I can't speak for JEZ but I think he meant stuff built into the OS, 7.1 
is feature-lacking in the extreme compared to 8.1. This is admittedly 
due to the fact that there are a few years between the OS. I'm still 
sticking with 7.6.1, with the 8.1 Appearance CP.
