On LC040s, this is readable no problem.  On full 040s, Apple shipped them all
with heatsinks, which usually obscure the letters at least in part, making it
more difficult to read the designation.

However, if it has a heatsink, it's almost a sure thing that it's a full 040 -
the LCs didn't need one.
