I agree with you, pickle; however, from one AverageMan's point of view, I do a lot of looking at second-hand stores, and circa 1989 or so monitors are what I see for sale (back to R.A. in a second). I bought my 476, circa 1989, at OfficeMax, demo, and the Performa Plus Display (that's all I see nowadays at my local Salvation Army and Goodwill stores) already had mega-burn-in from running 24 hours a day. Ditto for an AppleVision 1710 (one of the working models) I bought for five bucks, including System 7's clearly burned-in Babboon Help. Those monitors are old, so they burn in as easily as a compact Mac's. My first and second Macs were classics (Classic and SE), and I kept the screens okay with After Dark. Back to your original thread, then, R.A., Bad Dog is my favorite module. As long as you have the RAM to run it, three-year-olds, and forty-three-year-olds will have fun seeing Bad Dog whizz on the Trash (can). I still prefer Darkside, which is just as much fun as After Dark 4.0.x.... peace.... -- Cheers!
