The short answer is that you cannot run PowerPC-requiring programs on an un-upgraded Performa 630CD. What sort of programs are you trying to run? I'm sure you'll get useful advice if you'll share a few more details with the list members.

What do you mean that your Mac won't take a PowerPC card? Of course it will, provided you can find the correct model card. Again, more details for the list to peruse will help our collective diagnosis.
