More precisely, "a CD-ROM _or_ a tape drive". There's only one drive bay
available for the removable media drive. Second one is populated my the
floppy drive, so if you'll install both CD and tape, you'll have to
remove floppy drive, or to replace the front panel with another one,
where FDD is mounted in the bottom part of it.

As for WGS95 - it uses its own SCSI controller inserted into the PDS
slot, so this variant isn't related to the topic of our discussion.
Moreover, that controller can not be used by 'normal' MacOS - only A/UX
can use it, AFAIK.

We're talking about different issue here: using the same IDs for the
devices connected to both SCSI buses.
