The HP site shows no printer driver for Mac OS, which I have; but there is a printer driver for Mac OS2. I've been told by the refurb company that I do not need a printer driver, that my computer will "recognize" the LaserJet 4 and act appropriately. This may or may not be true.
Then there is the question of a cable. The HP Laser Jet 4 has a variety of ports, though the most promising seems to be a serial port. I figured I might be able to hook that up to the SCSI port on my Mac if I had a cable that was serial on one end and SCSI on the other. Plus I might need a SCSI terminator.
Does anyone out there know if I can actually get this printer to work with my Mac?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
