A few weeks ago my classroom 14 Mac LC580 lab was moved a 100 feet or so down the hall to another room. A different hub was used to connect them all up to the LAN and the Internet. I can't get them to use the hub, or the hub doesn't recognize them.
I used another known working hub. Same error message, "Can't find the server. URL is wrong." The connection is switched to Ethernet.
When I connect just one Mac to the wall drop, that one Mac connects to the Internet quickly and easily.
Any thoughts on the matter? Strategy of attack for this problem? Do I need to give you more information?
Jim
