Hi Tom,

Firstly I'd go straight to 7.6.1; the last of the best before the 8's.

Secondly it sounds as though you didn't choose what burner software TOAST
calls a "Hybrid" format, meaning that it will be readable by a PC.

But in your case maybe "WinImage" has an option where whatever you burn
will be readable on a Mac.
It will also have to be formatted in Standard Mac OS (which is HFS)
rather than Mac OS Extended (which is HFS+)

The PC hard  drive you are burning from is probably HFS+ formatted.
