Thanks to all who responded. My daughter told me something like that one time when I was trying to install a burner on her computer. I was thoroughly p****d off and left with it not working. She called me a few days later and told me that she changed the speed and it worked just fine. I have yet to meet the person who knows everything about computers. But, a group like this sure helps a whole heck of a lot. Thanks again. doctortom
