Thinking of looking into this, I looked up power usages on Quadras:
Is this some sort of mistake: http://www.pacmeb.com/database/computers/quadrac/005.html It says 210W for a 610?
But at: http://www.pacmeb.com/database/computers/quadrac/007.html it lists 630 at only 45 wats. The difference makes no sense to me.
I'd have to move some disks to get one of each working, but I was thinking of measuring the current usage. Has anyone done this for 610, 630?
Apple specs claim these max power limits
LC/LCII : 50W LCIII : 30W Q605 : 26W Q610 : unlisted Q650 : 86W Q630 : 45W Q700 : 90W continuous, 130 Max Q800 : 200W continuous Q840 : 200W continuous Q950 : 303W continuous
No figure includes the monitor and your load results will vary. ;) Can't help you with any "green" pc though.
