What is the best HDD I can fit - I have one @ 1 GB (Flash, quiet), the other @ 2 GB (normal rotating HDD) 4. Can I hook it to a laser printer without any add on cards - Yes (have a PLW300 on the serial) 5. What is the best OS for it - both of mine are @ 8.1 (the latest that will support 040)

The things i have in boxes are 2 x 2gb scsi hdd various ram chips of 72pin (mostly 16mb but a couple of 32's in there). also have a full 040 from a 840av that i had as a backup. i have a spare 1705 apple monitor. and an scsi scanner and laserwriter printer serial connected.
