has any one tried "netzero" or any of the other $10 isp companies for dialup? will any of them work on a mac and are any of them reasonably fast on dialup? i'm sick of paying earthlink too much money for mediocre service (connect speeds are fine, but nothing is "great" about it). will any of them work with a linux or bsd os? or are these "pc only" silliness? i don't need tech support, so if a mac can be manually configured i can do that, i've had several suppliers on many machines, starting with an se and text only browsing (it was somewhat possible 10 years ago on many sights). i know many only "support" windows, but like i said i don't need their silly tech support beyond being told the tcp/ip settings etc. i know when it's my system and when it's the isp that's causing problems and i can configure software in my sleep most of the time. thanks, and mary xmas!
