So here we are again, possibly a litte progress, it seems that the edis could be at fault, with a strobe pointed at the bottom pulley and the car rev'ed up through the range the "timing" mark (a large paint mark ) does not move, don't know if this corresponds to 10 degrees though, I'm a little reluctant to remove the edis from the other Q to try that but think I may have to. Not really certain of the saw and pip voltages or how to safely test them, more reading required.
