The 1800 CVH in my saloon is showing very low compression on cyl3 and lower than ideal on cyl4. Adding oil increases the compression indicating a ring/bore problem.
If I'm going to the trouble of fitting another engine I'd like it to be a Zetec-E so what is the current thinking about making it fit? a) Modify water pump to be an outlet only and use an electric pump b) Fit a CVH water pump as if it was going to be a ZVH c) Fit the engine unmodified and use solid mounts or modify the engine bay Any adavice would be much appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quantum Owners Group" group.
